Nursing is a dynamic, therapeutic and educative process in meeting the health needs of the individual family and society.
Nursing is a service which includes ministration to the sick care of the whole patient (His mind as well as his body) the care of the patient's environment (Physical as well as social) health education and health service to the individual family and society for the prevention of disease and promotion of health.
Nursing is the unique Education of the Nurse that is to assist the individual (sick or well) in the performance of those activities contributing to health or its recovery (or to a peace ful death) that he would perform unaided if he had the necessary strength will or knowledge.
Nursing practice is a direct service, goal directed and adaptable to the needs of the individual the family and community during health and illness. |
